  • Will your school help me get in shape? Yes.  Physical fitness is a very important element of our school.  We will do our best to help you achieve the physical conditioning you seek and take you to the next fitness level.

  • What type of martial arts is the best?  We do not believe there is a “best” martial arts.  Every system and style has positive attributes.  Some of these work better for self defense than others, some work better to develop balance in your life.  We believe that it is not the system that determines effectiveness, but rather the method in which the material is presented, and the flexibility of the teachers to help as many diverse people as possible

  • Do I have to make a commitment?  Of course you have to make a commitment.  To be successful in anything you must commit yourself to learning, developing and improving on what you have experienced.  Schools that do not require a commitment allow their students an excuse to break the most important commitment; the one you make to yourself.

  • I’m over 50 is martial arts training a good idea?  Martial arts training can help improve your life at any age level.  Martial arts can actually help reverse the aging process.

  • Do martial arts promote violence?  Martial arts teach you how to have a choice on dealing with violence.  It does not promote violence or violent acts, but rather gives you the tools necessary to deter violence and if necessary confront it.

  • Do I have to spar or fight?  Sparring and fighting is certainly an option for those who seek it.  The majority of student’s are not looking for this type of training and are not required to participate in these classes.

  • Will I learn to defend myself?  We will teach you proven methods in personal protection and do our best to provide you the tools necessary to feel confident and secure about your skills.  However you must be the one who ultimately determines how you will carry yourself in the face of conflict.

  • How much do you charge?  We have different programs to help fit into different budgets.  We do our best to offer programs specific to the individual.  We are not a cheap school and do not profess to have low prices.  We work very hard to provide excellent instruction and a superb learning environment.  Our school is very clean and well equipped.  We want you to come by and experience it for yourself
